Tsogs
Regular practice at Dudjom Tersar Barcelona
A tsog is a meeting were offerings are made to all Buddhas, lineage teachers, mandala deities, dakinis, Dharma protectors and samsara beings. The Vajrayana feast cures all fissures and reconciles all disharmonies that may have occurred at all levels, exterior, interior and secret.
On an outer level, the tsog is a group party by which the relationship between the members of the Sangha is strengthened, it allows to generate merit through the practice of generosity and karma yoga, and it also boost teamwork. On an inner level, when we eat the food of the offerings, the Buddhas, the deities and all the dakas and dakinis that reside in the mandala of our body are impregnated with the taste of great bliss and are completely satisfied. And on a secret level, the experience is spontaneously pure, beyond the dualistic attachment to subject and object.
The tsog is a very elaborate practice that contains several sections of accumulation, purification and offering, among others. It brings a vast accumulation of merit and wisdom and its benefit reaches the six realms of existence.
