Mindful yoga is one of the most powerful and wonderful forms of yoga. With it we can cultivate full attention, body awareness, strength, balance and flexibility, among other aspects. Its main focus is on attention, which leads to experience firsthand the indivisible union of body and mind. As we go deeper into practice, we find that our body is also an expression of our mind. In this way, as we work with the body following this practice, we certainly work with the mind. For this reason it can be said that this kind of yoga is a meditation in motion.

Mindful yoga brings us many benefits. Among them, it allows us to take care of our body and live in it with full awareness. By connecting changes in breathing and body sensations, we learn how to listen to their messages, which strengthens our confidence and helps relaxation. The simplicity of the practice of paying attention to breathing gives us the power to dissolve our personal concerns, in which we usually get trapped, and therefore restore our natural peace and well-being.
